I was unhappy for a long time about my weight.? I did not like what I saw in the mirror.? I had received the Vida180 newsletter in my inbox.? I was enjoying reading the success stories of the other members.? I realized a few months later that I too, needed to lose weight.? I wanted to be successful just like those other Vida180 members.? I could not even walk up 15 steps without being out of breath. I signed up with Vida180 that very day.

My weight gain began after the birth of my son 13 years ago. I developed a bad habit of eating his leftovers. I was so busy that I turned to fast-food and unhealthy snacks for meals.

Like most other Vida180 members, I have previously tried other diets.? I look back now and realize how ridiculous some were. I was just so desperate at the time that I would have tried anything!? With all the fad diets, I would initially lose weight, but soon after the number on the scale would climb back up.

I was now down by three dress sizes and shopping became a fun experience again.? My self-confidence has increased tremendously.? I was never able to find stylish clothes in a size 20/22.? Now that I can wear a size 16, I can shop in the regular woman’s section.? Clothes are more fashionable in regular sizes. I had wanted to dress like the young woman that I was and now I could!

I have resolved to never again have to wear a size 20/22 again.? I donated all my old clothes to charity.? I did keep one large pair of pants to remind me how far I have come in my weight loss journey.?? I now pay attention to my intake on a daily basis.? I call my Vida180 Nutritionist when I need support. I would like to lose another 10 lbs, but for now am working on maintaining my weight.
